Generative video, 2002.

Waterdream (multi-channel version showing) is a database narrative composed by random paths and storylines. The fragmented storyspace investigates fears and desires by constructing and de-constructing an imaginary conflict and its possible open-ended resolutions. The generative work was included in "FUTURE CINEMA - The Cinematic Imaginary after Film", an encyclopedic exhibition originated at the ZKM Museum in Germany and curated by Peter Weibel and Jeffrey Shaw. The show travelled to the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, Helsinki, Finland and to the ICC in Tokyo in 2004. Waterdream was part of Networked, a section curated by Nora Barry. A catalog published by MIT Press accompany the show.
